General and Specific Womens Health Services

General and Specific Womens Health Services offer a number of services to community women as well as health and social welfare professionals.

These include:

• medical and clinical services,

• counselling,

• information on various health issues,

• community talks and workshops

• postnatal depression services,

• support and advocacy services for women who have a mental illness and are caring for children,

• support and advocacy services for women experiencing domestic violence,

• a crèche for children of women using General and Specific Womens Health Services’s services

• professional development and training for health and social welfare professionals.
